CET Designer 2.6 and Photo Lab releasing this fall
You’ve been wanting it: Photo Lab in CET Designer – extreme photorealism rendering in a single design-and-specification solution. We unveil it at NeoCon this June 13-15.
Releasing automatically with CET Designer 2.6 later this fall, Photo Lab produces renderings so realistic that the software eliminates the need for any other add-on-tool or outsourcing of the rendering function.
Photo Lab brings the realism to unprecedented levels:
- Produces photo-realistic renderings within the industry’s only rules-based, design-and-specification software tool developed in collaboration with Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion and other major manufacturers.
- Creates high-quality renderings with natural light and realistic shading previously only available in dedicated rendering applications
- Renders multiple images at once
- Enables immediate post-rendering processing and post-rendering changes (i.e., tweaking lighting) without the need to re-render
- Automatically updates changes made by the user in the rendering to ensure accuracy
Price points, additional features
Although Photo Lab in CET Designer produces results as sophisticated as rendering solutions used by A&D firms and dedicated rendering companies, its cost is zero to CET Designer users. It will be an automatic feature available to users starting with CET Designer 2.6.
Also automatically included with CET Designer 2.6 will be an enhanced version of Movie Studio, the free CET Designer Extension that enables users to create virtual fly-thru videos of designed office space; and a new Reconfiguration tool that automates reconfigurations by enabling users to take a customer’s existing drawing and, by using the tool, see what existing product can be reused, what’s available in the warehouse, what needs to be ordered new and what’s leftover.
